3 Amazing Infused Water Remedies For Weight Loss, Hair & Skin

by January 24, 2017

One of the best ways to rid your body of harmful toxins is by drinking water. Yes, it is that simple.

Drinking water can give you some pretty amazing benefits, to be honest. If you add a few things to the water you consume you can double and in some cases even triple the benefits. I use to avoid drinking water but after trying these mixtures I drink plenty of water!

These recipes are the best when it comes to getting the most from you water:

Ginger Water

Ingredients:

Directions:

  • Combine these two ingredients in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  • Let it simmer to cook partially covered on a medium heat.
  • Once the mixture becomes dark and smells like ginger strongly (about 20 minutes total) remove from heat.
  • Strain into a mug (if you want to add some flavor you can add honey to this.)
  • Then drink.

This is great for preventing colds and the flu as well as reducing morning sickness. This is because o the B6 vitamin in the ginger. If you’re dealing with nausea this is something that will give you almost instant relief.

Coriander Seeds and Water

This recipe is quite simple and the video below gives you a step by step demonstration on how to make it. All you need is water coriander seeds and some time. This is a remedy that will work wonders for your thyroid. It is known as Dhania water and I love it!

ACV and Water

Ingredients:

Directions:

  • Mix two tablespoon of organic ACV into two tablespoons of honey.
  • Add a pinch or two of salt and then fill the glass with warm water.
  • Drink up!

You will love this one, at first it may taste a bit strange but I have truly come to enjoy it. It works wonders for a hangover as well as giving you tons of benefits when not hungover.

How Weighted Blankets Are Helping People With Anxiety

by January 23, 2017

Millions of people deal with stress and anxiety on a daily basis. These people have been needing something for quite some time now that will help alleviate their symptoms.

Yes, there are plenty of different pills a person could take but when it comes to our health the most natural approach is usually the best approach. We must always be on the lookout for new working drug-free options. If you or someone you love is dealing with insomnia, stress, anxiety, or anything that would cause an out of place mindset this might be able to help.

Sleeping with a weighted blanket could change your life. This is known as deep pressure stimulation and it is a type of therapy that exerts pressure all over the body. This provides a person with psychological benefits as well as physical benefits. Weighted blankets were actually traditionally used by occupational therapists as a means to help children with things like sensory disorders, stress, autism related issues, and anxiety.

A study published in Occupational Therapy in Mental Health 2008, showed that weighted blankets helped a lot when it comes to anxiety. These blankets are very similar to warm hugs. They mold to your body and provide relaxing pressure to the nervous system. This triggers a serotonin release and helps to improve the person’s mood.

These weighted blankets are ideal for someone looking for a solution without drugs. There are many different types of these blankets and they range in a variety of materials.  Standard blanket weight for an adult generally ranges from fifteen to thirty pounds. It is all based on your size. Of course, speaking with a doctor before doing something like this is ideal. If you suffer from any sort of respiratory or circulatory issue this is not something I would advise you to do as it could cause further issue with that.

These blankets work wonders. If you want to go another step further and male your own weighted blanket rather than buying one then please take the time to watch the video below and of course, you can substitute the poly beads for uncooked rice or beans. Enjoy your anxiety free sleep filled night!

The Dark Side of Empaths

by January 23, 2017

Empaths are people whom we generally consider the healers of the world. These people see the different energies of the world as well as feeling them.

Empaths feel what other people feel. This is amazing, yes, but it is also hard to deal with sometimes. Because of this gift empaths are relied on by others for support. They do their best to handle these things all the while being very stressed. Empaths stress much more than you would think. If you’re not an empath you may not quite understand.

Empaths have two conflicting voices inside of there being one is feeling good while the other is feeling bad. They are constantly being torn between the positive and the negative. Empaths deal with being overwhelmed almost every single day.

Empaths deal with a terrible dark side that you may not often hear about or notice as they put on a great show for others. They are constantly being fatigued from the energies they are absorbing. Their generosity and kindness is something that puts them in the position to be taken advantage of time and time again. These empaths always give and rarely take. They are always ready to show kindness to those who need it.

Being selfless in a world like this is a burden, to say the least, but it is a weight that these empaths rarely even notice. They carry this weight because it is meaningful to them. They would not dare let the weight fall onto someone else. Empaths would willingly neglect their body and mind for the sake of someone else. We need to do our best to let those empaths in our lives know that we appreciate them and never take advantage of their kindness.

Just because someone appears fine does not mean they are. Everyone is going through something. We should be aware of the struggles others go through and do our best to help them without hurting ourselves. If you know someone like this take the time to thank them for all that they do.

8 Natural Ways To Heal Back Problems Through Food, Massage, Exercise And Yoga

by January 23, 2017

Back pain seems to be a serious issue all around the world! While people are encouraged to take pharmaceuticals to cure their back pain, they should actually be avoiding them altogether. The big Pharma companies are poisoning people all around the world, so here is what you can do instead.

It is no doubt that the Pharmaceutical industries are feeding us poisons. They claim that their pills are the solution to all of our health issues, but they actually might be causing them. In fact, out of the 20.5 million Americans that are 12 and older with a substance abuse problem, 2 million of them had a direct issue with prescription pain medications, and 591,000 had a substance abuse problem with heroin.

It is time to take a stand against the corporate greed of the pharma companies. Thankfully, mother nature had it all planned out from the beginning! There are several different natural methods of relieving that horrible back pain. Here are 12 of them!

  1. Get More Restorative Sleep, By Posturing Correctly While Sleeping

Having back pain can make sleeping impossible at times, however, sleep is necessary for your body to heal, and repair itself for the following day. Understanding how to position yourself while sleeping will make a world of a difference the next day.

Here is a guide to position yourself correctly for a good nights sleep.

  1. Use Hot/Cold to Alleviate the Pain

Hot and cold therapies is a timeless pain relief method. Each provides their own benefits, but both can be quite useful when experiencing bouts of back pain.

Cold Therapy- Works as an anesthetic of sorts as it slows down nerve impulses that cause excruciating pain to radiate through the back. Cold therapies also aid in reducing inflammation.

Hot Therapy- Heat actually prevents pain messages from being transmitted to the brain. It also stimulates blood flow which causes healing nutrients to travel to the affected area.

  1. Stretching to Relieve Pain

Stretching can be quite beneficial when you are attempting to find relief from horrible back pain. There are a variety of stretches that were created and put together for the exact purpose of back pain relief, and often times these stretches can even cure the pain. Here are a few that work wonders for a variety of different forms of back pain.

  1. Improve Your Posture to Avoid Back Pain

Posture is how we carry ourselves while standing, sitting, sleeping, and doing any task in our day to day lives. When our posture is good, our back is aligned, and each vertebrae works efficiently. However, when we hold ourselves in bad posture, we can put too much weight or strain on certain muscles and bones, which leads to intense back pain.

Posture can easily be improved by use of a number of exercises. Harvard Health lists these four amazing exercises that should bring improvement quickly.

  1. Get Massages as needed.

Properly massaging the muscles of your back when they need it is crucial. It would be best to ask your therapist which massage would be best for you depending on what type of pain you’re dealing with. Our back muscles become irritated when we engage the lower body in something and leave the upper body still. These massages will keep your back pain away and help relax you at the end of your night.

  1. Keep your stress levels low.

Keeping your stress levels low will reduce your back pain and help you in a big way when it comes to mental health as well. When you are stressed your body sends out a fight or flight response, by eliminating stress you are going to be able to reduce your pain levels. People who are overly anxious and stressed tend to deal with more pain.

  1. Add curcumin into your daily life.

Curcumin is a natural anti-inflammatory and can relieve minor back pain with no issue. It is a spice that should be readily available in your home. Curcumin can also be used for a wide variety of things besides back pain. Things like preventing Alzheimer’s, counteracting aging, and combating cancer stem cells. For information on how to use this spice for back pain please watch the video below.

https://youtu.be/yw4wOckgfPw

  1. Meditate often to reduce pain.

Minimal meditation has actually been found to reduce pain drastically. A person’s perception of pain can be reduced dramatically within just a few short sessions. This does not eliminate the pain but it does change the way you perceive it. It will actually be able to give you long lasting results.
