New Study: Why This Common Food Has Radically Increased Celiac Disease, Autism, Alzheimer’s, & More

by June 22, 2017

Glyphosate is a dangerous chemical that has found its way into a vast majority of our food and water supply. It is an extremely dangerous toxin, and it is causing massive amounts of disease.

Glyphosate is a pesticide produced by the infamous company Monsanto, and they are first handedly causing the downfall of our entire environment. They are polluting the air, space, water, food, and our bodies. This dangerous chemical is causing a world of health issues and complications, and very well might be responsible for the dramatic increase in cancer. Nonetheless, we do know that it is causing a spike in diseases such as celiac disease, according to Dr. Stephanie Seneff, a senior scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The research on glyphosate was in December of last year. She not only has studied the relationship between celiac disease and glyphosate, but also the relationship between other serious health issues like autism spectrum disorder and a wide variety of other diseases. She also believes that it could be the transporter of other toxic chemicals such as aluminum and arsenic. She says that it could be carrying aluminum to the brain and arsenic to the kidneys. Her first findings on glyphosate were published in the journal Entropy last year, followed by a paper that linked glyphosate to celiac disease.

Her research was co-authored by Dr. Samsel, also part of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. “There’s an extremely strong correlation between the use of Roundup on corn and soy over time and the increase in all these different diseases, and celiac disease is one of them,” she says.

“We certainly have seen an explosive appearance of celiac disease almost overnight in the last five to 10 years… Now you have a growing section of gluten-free choices of various food products…

Lots of people are intolerant to gluten, of course. But people aren’t thinking, ‘Why is this now true? This didn’t use to be true’… I was really puzzled because wheat is not a GE product… GMO wheat is not a product that’s on the market.”

Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disorder that can occur in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine. It affects 1 in 100 people worldwide, and two and a half million Americans are estimated to be undiagnosed and are at risk for long-term health complications.  The use of glyphosate on wheat crops has shown to severely damage your gut flora and cause chronic diseases rooted in gut dysfunction. Not only has the use of glyphosate on wheat been increased, cases of celiac disease have been too.

Not only is glyphosate causing an increase in Celiac disease and gluten intolerance, but it is actually contaminating over 90% of today’s wheat supply. Preharvest application of the deadly glyphosate to wheat and barley has been routine since the year 1980. It is used as a drying agent 7-10 days before harvest, with conventional farming.

Dr. Seneff explains that when you expose wheat to a toxic chemical like glyphosate, it actually releases more seeds resulting in a slightly greater yield: “ “It ‘goes to seed’ as it dies. At its last gasp, it releases the seed” says Dr. Seneff. According to the US Department of Agriculture, as of 2012, 99% of durum wheat, 97% of spring wheat, 91% for spring wheat and 61% % for winter wheat is treated with herbicides. Wheat farmer Keith Davis has some comments about the practice too. He says;

“This practice is not licensed. Farmers mistakenly call it “desiccation.” Consumers eating products made from wheat flour are undoubtedly consuming minute amounts of Roundup. An interesting aside, malt barley which is made into beer is not acceptable in the marketplace if it has been sprayed with preharvest Roundup. Lentils and peas are not accepted in the marketplace if it was sprayed with preharvest roundup….. but wheat is ok.. This farming practice greatly concerns me and it should further concern consumers of wheat products.”

Dr. Seneff and Dr. Anthony Samsel both think glyphosate may attack the gliadin as a consequence of a chemical reaction. As noted in their study:

“[G]ut dysbiosis, brought on by exposure to glyphosate, plays a crucial role in the development of celiac disease. Many CYP enzymes are impaired in association with celiac disease, and we show that glyphosate’s known suppression of CYP enzyme activity in plants and animals plausibly explains this effect in humans.”

Ho’oponopono ~ The Hawaiian Art of Healing

by June 22, 2017

“But the truth is it only has to reach you, through me, as we are all one and it all happens inside.” ~ An excerpt from preface by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, author of Zero Limits and Hawaiian shaman and healer.

Ho’oponopono is the Hawaiian art of healing. It consists of practices of shunyata, or the state of stillness. Ho’oponopono means to make something right, right your wrongs, or to take responsibility for your actions and your wrongdoings and make it right. It also means to move on and forgive other people for their wrongdoings. It is based on the principles of love, forgiveness, and gratitude.

“Ho’oponopono is a profound gift that allows one to develop a working relationship with the Divinity within and learn to ask that in each moment, our errors in thought, word, deed, or action be cleansed. The process is essentially about freedom, complete freedom from the past. ~ Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, Ho’oponopono Master Teacher” The art was first shown in the spotlight when a Hew Len healed a ward of criminally insane prisoners at the Hawaii state hospital with his cleansing meditation.

The most amazing part of the meditation is that Hew Len never even met the patients that he cured. He reviewed each patient’s files and healed them by healing himself.  He improved their behavior pattern and the overall atmosphere of the ward for four years. He compares the brain like a computer; when something is deleted, it only goes to the recycle bin. The subconscious mind processed over 11 million bits of information per second. If you can manage to enter a state of nothingness you must strip your conscious mind of all erroneous thoughts. It clears away the destructive messages that come to our mind.

In the earlier times, according to the theory of the ho’oponopono, if one person behaved criminally then the whole clan and villages felt they were responsible for that behavior. The mantra for the village was –

“We are responsible, we are sorry, please forgive us.”

We create our own reality and attract beings, situations, and things to ourselves. Our job in such a scenario is to heal that part of us that has brought us to a bad situation. Then, the situation will heal itself.

How the Bacteria in Our Gut Influences Our Minds

by June 22, 2017

For most of the time we always thought that mood, emotional, and mental issues were an internal issue. However, these problems might be derived from the bacteria in your gut.

Psychologists and therapists have become recently interested in the role bacteria plays in our mood. Yes, we know that bacteria can cause sickness or disease, and that we have good bacteria as well as bad bacteria – but there has been a sudden increase in emotional issues in the last decade. Researchers and biologists believe that this might be caused by the bacteria in our gut. Anxiety is the most common mental illness today, and an estimated 40 million American adults endorse symptoms of anxiety. That’s 18% of the US population.

When our gut bacteria is out of order, we experience a multitude of symptoms. When the gut bacteria is out of balance our guts become disturbed, and we experience digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome. Symptoms include bloating, gas, constipation, or diarrhea.

These symptoms can be indicators of leaky gut syndrome, when your gut wall becomes permeable and particles of food escape from the digestive tract. This causes a domino affect on your digestive system which has resulted in the tens of millions of Americans who suffer with GI disorders.

Treatment for anxiety accounts for one third of the $148 billion dollars spent annually on mental illnesses. Scientists physicians, and mental health practitioners are increasingly aware of the important relationship between the balance of gut bacteria and the current mood we are experiencing in our brain. There is a lot of different things you can do to realign the balance of your gut and improve your overall mood.

If you want to naturally balance out the bacteria in your gut there are several different things you can do. For one thing eliminate the issue from the root. Unbalanced gut bacteria might be caused by excessive and unmanaged stress, excessive use of antibiotics, prolonged use of steroids, intestinal infections, high sugar and low fiber diets, and the regular consumption of alcohol. You can improve the bacteria in your gut by cutting out sugar and processed foods. Findings from a new study at Oregon State University found that a diet high in sugar caused changes in the gut bacteria of mice, impairing the mice’s ability to adjust to changing situations, called “cognitive flexibility.” The change in gut bacteria also negatively affected the mice’s long-term and short-term memory.

You should also eat more plants and dietary fiber. Most gut experts will agree when saying that changing our diet is the most direct method for changing the gut bacteria. By eating plants you achieve and maintain microbiota diversity, when leads to a clear and happy mind alone. Another thing you have to do in order to revolutionize your gut is to limit antibiotics. Regular antibiotic use kills the diverse community of microbiota, and causes destruction to the immune system.

How Your Makeup Is Killing You

by June 22, 2017

In today’s society, makeup has come somewhat of a standard that women feel as if they do not have a choice. Makeup does not only hide your natural beauty, but it’s bad for you too.

According to research by the College of Optometrists over half of makeup, users do not check the instruction to see how long they should keep their mascara on for. In fact, over a fifth admitted they didn’t even know the expiry information existed. Makeup was first invented by the Egyptians, but their ingredients were much different. They used mud, soot, charcoal, and even crocodile stool. While today’s mascara is made in a much cleaner way, it is still really bad for your health.

The eyelids are very vulnerable to infection; the more you touch your eyelids the more likely they are to get infected. Applying makeup to the eye daily can obviously raise your risk of getting an infection. Mascara is also composed of soot particles in them and they can get into the small oil-producing pores along the length of the eye. This clogs them up, raising your risk of infection even more. Mascara isn’t the only makeup that is bad for you either. Makeup collects fungal spores that are just floating in the air, and you without hesitation dust them all over your face, nose, mouth, and eyes every day.

You can also obtain infections by sharing your makeup. Sharing makeup transports millions of germs and makeup brushes store them. Every person that uses your brush leaves behind skin particles and germs and who knows how long they stay there. After everyone gets done polluting your brush and makeup with their germs, all you’re doing is dusting them all over your face. This can cause acne and irritation too. You might not think that makeup has an expiration date, but it does.

The antibacterial agents and properties in makeup start to and break down after just six months. Eyelash curlers start to build up the product on them and they will rip your lashes out. They also build up germs that can give you pink eye and even herpes. Herpes thrives in moist environments and it can easily survive in makeup and make its way to your face – and that wouldn’t be much fun. There have even been cases of women contracting E. Coli from makeup products. Makeup can get E. Coli from being exposed to dirty hands.

You might have even noticed your eyes being puffy in the morning. Your eyes can collect tons of bacteria on your makeup applicators that cause allergic reactions. Honestly, just avoid makeup. Everyone has natural beauty, and if you can’t give up your beauty regimen, try replacing your makeup products with natural beauty supplies!

Research Finds Popular Nut Reduces Cholesterol Better Than Statins!

by June 22, 2017

High cholesterol is a health ailment that is widely too popular among the United States. It is taking lives left and right, thus meaning heart disease is the number one killer in the USA. the medications prescribed for high cholesterol might even be worse.

Statins, a group of medications typically prescribed to people with high cholesterol, is extremely dangerous. Pharmaceutical representative believe high cholesterol to be the reason heart disease is the number one killer in the United States, killing approximately 610,000 people per year. Because of their beliefs, they created statins, a drug that is thought to reduce cholesterol levels and decrease the amount of heart disease cases. Turns out that the drugs are dangerously toxic and can even result in death. They pharmaceutical company uses them as nothing more than a way to make money, and that they do. In fact, they made over $29 billion dollars in 2013 – off statins alone.

Statins interfere with the production of coenzyme Q10, which supports the body’s immune and nervous systems, boosts heart and other muscle health, maintains normal blood pressure, and much more. That’s exactly why you should refrain from these medications at all costs. It is always a better move to treat yourself naturally than a doctor treat you pharmaceutically. There is actually a common nut that is said to treat high cholesterol way better than statins and it is harmless. What kind of nut? Brazil nuts!

The effects of brazil nuts on cholesterol were studied on many different occasions. One study from the Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism showed that ten adults 23 to 34 years old were asked to eat different quantities of brazil nuts on four different occasions. They also followed a balanced diet and fasting blood samples were taken at different points during the first say. at 48 hours, then 5 and 30 days after eating either no Brazil nuts, 5g Brazil nuts, 20g Brazil nuts or 50g Brazil nuts.

While their total cholesterol levels did not change, there was a rapid improvement in overall cholesterol balance after eating the 20g or 50g ‘doses’. Their circulating levels of ‘bad’ LDL-cholesterol levels fell significantly after 9 hours and reached a steady level at 48 hours. They also experienced an increase in their high density lipoproteins (HDL) also known as the good cholesterol. It was increased just six hours after eating the nuts and reached a stable level by 5 days.

The beneficial changes were still present after thirty days and may have been sustained for longer as the study design meant testing was stopped at that point. They also provide numerous other nutritional benefits such as providing you with antioxidants and vitamins. They also contain lots of selenium, another natural supplement thought to be aid for cholesterol levels.

How Your Brain Changes When You Eat A Pickle Every Day

by June 22, 2017

Pickles are delicious and i don’t know many people who can’t enjoy a good pickle. Although their tastiness, they are actually really good for your body.

Pickles have actually been considered to be a health food for centuries. Cleopatra claimed pickles were the essential part of her diet that maintained her beauty. Julius caesar even fed his soldiers pickles to give them strength! They’re fantastic for you in a lot of different ways! for example, pickle juice is extremely popular with athletes for pre workout and post workout supplements. They replenish both the sodium and potassium lost through the sweat of an athlete. Pickle juice also consists of calcium chloride that is necessary to maintain a healthy level of electrolytes.

Pickle juice can also be used to stimulate good digestion. The vinegar in pickle juice is a fermented food, and is actually really good for the stomach. “It encourages the growth and healthy balance of good bacteria and flora in your gut”, says Dr. Manoj K. Ahuja, Fortis Hospital. But what exactly happens to your body when you eat a pickle? Many studies show that it can be helpful in treating different types of anxiety and general neuroticism. One study researched the effects of pickles to your mental the professor explained it this way: “It is likely that the probiotics in the fermented foods are favorable changing the environment in the guy, and changes in the gut in turn influence social anxiety.”alth. The study consisted of 700 students at the College of William and Mary. They found that those who ate higher levels of fermented foods has fewer social anxiety problems.

One professor explained it this way: “It is likely that the probiotics in the fermented foods are favorable changing the environment in the guy, and changes in the gut in turn influence social anxiety.” There has been a known connection between the gut and the brain. Scientists believe that fermented foods increase a chemical known as GABA, a neurotransmitter that has an anti-anxiety effect on the entire body.

According to Dr. Matthew Hilimire, a professor of Psychology at William and Mary, “Giving these animals these probiotics increased GABA, so it’s almost like giving them these drugs but it’s their own bodies producing GABA. So your own body is increasing this neurotransmitter that reduces anxiety.”

However, there are few human studies linking fermentation and the brain, but there are many studies regarding the effect on animals. Previous studies have discovered a link between probiotics and depression or even anxiety. Scientists at the university also note the link between GABA levels in the brain and decreased permeability and inflammation of the gut. All in all, pickles are awesome!
