40 Studies Proving GM Foods Are Destroying Our Health

by December 6, 2016

Unlike the strict safety evaluations required for the approval of new drugs, the safety of genetically engineered foods for human consumption is not adequately tested. GMO’s can pose serious health effects, as they are unnatural to our bodies.

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are the product of scientists changing the genes of an original organism. The most frightening part about it, is that the government does not require GMO labeling on the food products we buy every day.

I have included a list of 40 rodent studies conducted either using Roundup, Ready, or Bt-toxin GM feed. It is chilling to know our elected officials are putting corporate interests and profiteering above public health. The United States is the first country in the world to ban GMO labeling.

The following studies, compiled by GMO Free USA, prove how the rats suffered a wide assortment of ailments including:

  • Increased intestinal infections
  • High cholesterol
  • Birth defects
  • Weight-increase and higher incidence of mortality
  • Organ pathologies in the liver, kidneys, pancreas, ovaries, testes, and adrenals
  • Major issues with both the intestinal tracts and immunity of the animals tested

Bayer-Monsanto: A “Marriage Made In Hell”

by December 6, 2016

Monsanto agreed back in September to sell itself to Bayer for a total of $56.5 billion dollars. This combined company will be the world’s largest seller of seeds and agrichemicals.

Monsanto is without a doubt one of the most hated companies we have ever seen. They have been the center of many debates and discussions throughout the past years. Their top seller RoundUp, as you are likely aware of, contains Glyphosate and is linked with cancer, autism, and other illnesses. If Monsanto and Bayer do actually join forces this company would be controlling almost a third of the whole world’s seed market as well as around one fourth of the whole world’s pesticide market.

If you take Monsanto’s debt into account then Bayer is going to be spending at least $66 billion dollars total to buy Monsanto. Bayer and Monsanto have been known to team up in the past, they worked hand in hand during the development of Agent Orange back in the time of the Vietnam War. Both of these companies have dark pasts, if you look at their history your mind will be blown. Bayer is going to be spending at least $66 billion dollars total to buy Monsanto.

These two companies claim that the deal will help people, but in all reality, they are only helping themselves. We are at this time unsure if the Bayer takeover will improve Monsanto’s public relations issue or make it worse. Farmers’ choice in seed purchasing is going to become even more limited as the people in control of these companies are becoming more and more powerful.

The anti-trust laws we have in place are going to thankfully get this merger analyzed before it will actually be able to happen. With some luck it won’t happen, who knows? A merger like this threatens the food supply of the whole world with GMOs and carcinogens. It appears Monsanto thinks by changing its name it can trick us, but it cannot.

This merger is going to lead to unfair higher prices for farmers across the globe. Crackdowns have busted other mergers this year, let’s hope they stop this one as well. For more information on Monsanto, Bayer, their pasts, and this evil merger please watch the video below.

The FDA Finally Admits That Chicken Meat Contains Cancer-Causing Arsenic

by December 6, 2016

The FDA finally admitted that the chicken sold in the United States contains cancer causing agent, arsenic. The dangerous chemical is included in the chicken feed. The FDA admitted that over 70% of chicken sold includes arsenic.

What is Arsenic? Arsenic is an element found in nature, and in man-made products including pesticides. I don’t know about you, but i do not want to consume any food that has a leading pesticide chemical in it. Long-term exposure to arsenic in low doses may change the way cells communicate, and it can reduce their ability to function. It could certainly play a role in the development of diabetes, cancer, vascular disease, and heart disease. The Food and Drug Administration says that long-term exposure to high levels of arsenic is associated with higher rates of skin cancer, bladder cancer, and lung cancer.

Arsenic sure sounds like a dangerous chemical, so why would it be in our food? It is a naturally occurring element that is found in soil and water. It is also used as a pesticide by farmers. Much like lead, mercury, and other heavy metals in the soil, over the years it starts to affect our crops. Studies show that arsenic shows up in a higher percentage of crops grown around a river. You can read more on how farmers use arsenic here.

It has been discovered that we have been consuming arsenic in our chicken products for over 5 decades. Their claim is not scientifically proven, but they say that “arsenic is excreted through the chicken’s feces.” Evidence can not be denied, however, causing the chicken manufacturer Roxarsone to be pulled from the shelves.

Do not forget that the FDA does approve the use of arsenic in our food. Here are some ways you can protect yourself.  Always check the date on the package.

The fat content of the chicken should be white to deep yellow, and not pasty or gray. Avoid the chicken if it is unnaturally bright pink in color. Always choose “Certified Organic” meat products, to be sure that you and your family consume safe products.

Moringa – The Herb That Kills Cancer and Stops Diabetes

by December 6, 2016

Moringa has come to be known as one of the most impressive herbal supplements to hit the holistic health market.

Moringa is a plant that is native to Sub-Himalayan areas of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The roots, leaves, bark and flowers are used to make medicine. Moringa has been used traditionally and medicinally for thousands of years.

Some people refer to Moringa as “drumstick”. It is powerfully full of rich antioxidants. Moringa has a variety of medicinal uses. Moringa can be used to treat Anemia, arthritis, asthma, cancer, joint pain, constipation and most importantly; diabetes. The plant can virtually stop diabetes. It contains a type of acid called chlorogenic acid. Chlorogenic acid helps regulate blood sugar levels and allows cells to take up or release glucose as needed. It gives Moringa natural anti-diabetic and hormone balancing properties.

After the acknowledgment of health benefits from it, scientists started to explore its power of fighting cancer. In 2003, The Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer prevention published a study in which researchers examined skin tumor prevention following ingestion of Moringa seedpod extracts in mice. Results showed a dramatic reduction in skin tumors and suggested it could have cancer-fighting properties.

Another study in 2006 reported that a molecule found in moringa induced cell death in ovarian cancer cells grown in a lab. Based on these findings, researchers believe the plant has a potential to treat this type cancer.

According to ECHO, a diet of moringa leaves with porridge made from amaranth grain has substantially reduced or alleviated HIV symptoms in patients. These symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, weight loss and chronic cough, which are also common in people diagnosed with mesothelioma and other cancers of the lung.

Now you may be wondering how to use Moringa, as it has so many health benefits. Due to the long travel moringa encounters on the way over to the United States, it is most commonly sold in a capsule or extract form which prolongs shelf life. It’s recommended that you start by taking half a teaspoon of dried moringa orally per day for three to five days, increasing your intake slowly over two weeks as you get accumulated to its effects. Most people choose to take moringa every other day, but not every single day for the long duration of time, since it can cause laxative effects and an upset stomach when overused.

Here are some common ways Moringa is used:

Dried moringa leaves or powder: It takes roughly seven pounds of moringa leaves to make one pound of dried powder. The leaves are considered the most potent parts of the plant, containing the most antioxidants and available macronutrients. In regard to the concentration of phenolic compounds, amino acids, and volatile oils, the stem and root portions of the plant appear to have the least bioactive nutrients compared to the leaves. Look for moringa dried leaves in capsule, powder or tea form, and take them with a meal, rather than on an empty stomach.

Moringa tea: This type of moringa is made from dried leaves steeped in hot water, just like many other beneficial herbal teas. The most nutrient-dense types are organic and dried slowly under low temperatures, which helps preserve delicate compounds. Avoid boiling the leaves to help retain the nutrients best, and don’t cook with moringa if possible.

Moringa seeds: Moringa pods and flowers appear to have a high phenolic content along with proteins and fatty acids. These are the parts of the plant used to purify water and add protein to low-nutrient diets. Look for them added to creams, capsules, and powders. The immature green pods of the plant are often called “drumsticks” and are prepared similarly to green beans. The seeds inside the pods are removed and roasted or dried just like nuts to preserve their freshness.

Moringa oil: The oil from moringa seeds is sometimes called Ben oil. Look for it in natural creams or lotions. Keep the oil in a cool, dark place away from high temperatures or the sun.

Vapen Clear: Meet The World’s First Cannabis Inhaler

by December 6, 2016

While you can see that the number of cannabis advocates are increasing it is apparent that the number of creative innovators is as well. I see new amazing things left and right.

The world’s first-ever cannabis inhaler is rolling out right now and is known as the Vapen Clear. This neat little creation looks just like your average inhaler and works the same way except this one contains no albuterol. The Vapen Clear releases THC, packing a powerful ten milligrams per puff.

vapen-clear-marijuana-inhaler

Each cartridge is around one hundred puffs and can be adjusted to meet your needs. This is a pretty interesting little gadget, while vaporizer pens heat the contents the Vapen Clear does not. It simply uses a propellant to blast the medicine inside your lungs directly. It also comes in three different designs!

There is a daytime inhaler which includes THC from a Sativa strain because Sativa produces energy rather than make you mellow. The other two options being a nighttime inhaler with Indica strain for a chilled out effect and an afternoon inhaler for a steady buzz coming from a Sativa and Indica mix. You could get one of each or one of whichever you prefer. (More mixtures are in the works.)

The Vapen Clear itself is virtually odorless and is discreet. Who wouldn’t want one? This could be quite the amazing product for more information please watch the video below.

You Will Never Suffer From Cough Or Bronchitis Again: A Natural Remedy For You And You Child

by December 6, 2016

Most of us are dealing with coughs and bronchitis at the moment due to the time of year. We in the season of viral and bacterial infections.

While you may be aware, the act of coughing itself is our bodies way of trying to rid itself of foreign substances as well as mucus in the upper airway passages and lungs. Bronchitis can last from a few days to a whole month depending on how bad your case is and is not fun to deal with at all. Dealing with a constant wet or dry cough can be completely exhausting.

Luckily only about twenty percent of all cases of the cough become chronic. If you notice any of the following symptoms it would be best if you saw a doctor as soon as possible:

  • Coughing up blood, bloody mucus, or even pink foamy mucus
  • Coughing up yellow, green, or tan mucus
  • Get the chills or chest pains when breathing deeply
  • Begin dealing with shortness of breath

If you are dealing with a cough and have not developed any of these symptoms yet then dealing with your minor illness at home might be the right route for you. You can effectively rid yourself of bronchitis or a cough without any drugs or medications. The following remedy is one of the best ways I have found to treat as well as prevent cough and bronchitis in children and adults.

It is easy to prepare and you often will already have these ingredients at home. Why not give it a try? Here is how to make the remedy:

Things Needed:

  • 400ml of milk
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp. of honey
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp. of butter
  • An egg yolk
  • 1/2 tbsp. of baking soda

Directions:

  • Boil the milk and remove from heat when finished
  • let it cool for a minute or two then add the butter and honey
  • Mix this well and then add in the egg yolk and baking soda
  • Still consistently for about one whole minute
  • Drink this mixture before bed every night for five days

It is that simple. Who knew curing your bronchitis could take such little effort? Just a five-minute treatment for five days and you’re done. Next time you feel a cough coming on do this in order to prevent the issue completely.
