Naturally Contour Your Face Without Makeup

by in Beauty, DIY August 11, 2016

Many people spend hundreds of dollars on contour and highlighting products that are actually really bad for your skin. While I am guilty myself of overindulging in the products, I will definitely be doing this more often; I mean look at her skin!

Meet the game-changing contour mask coined by beauty blogger, Farah Dhukai. Dhukai recently uploaded a tutorial on Instagram that has been viewed over 1 million times, demonstrating how to give your face a subtle highlight and contour using absolutely no makeup. Can you say, YES PLEASE!?

??HIGHLIGHT AND CONTOUR with NO MAKE UP!?? ?I like to call this my “highlight and contour” mask, but this is also called multi-masking- where you use different masks for different “concerns” on your face. ?The white “highlight” mask BRIGHTENS and LIGHTENS to reveal a beautiful GLOW ?The brown “contour” mask TIGHTENS both masks also hydrate the skin and exfoliate but more on that later ?HIGHLIGHT MASK: ?Rose Petals (you can use fresh or dried, I used dried and crushed them) ?Honey – A little less than 1tbsp ?Yogurt – 1 tbsp ✅Apply to all the areas of your face that you want to brighten and “highlight” to get a natural glow ?CONTOUR MASK: ?Espresso/Coffee Brewed Grinds – 1tbsp ?Cacao Powder – Tbsp ?Honey – A little less than 1tbsp ✅Apply to all the areas of your face that you want to tighten to “contour” to look naturally chiseled ?LET BOTH MASKS DRY COMPLETELY ?WASH OFF WITH LUKEWARM WATER in CIRCULAR MOTIONS to EXFOLIATE (careful near your eyes) ?PAT DRY ?BOOOOOOOM youll look naturally highlighted and contoured! “highlight” areas will look like theyre glowing and your “contoured” areas will feel tighttttttttttt and righttt ✌?️DO THIS TWICE A WEEK! ‼️✨WHY THIS WORKS!✨‼️ #1 HIGHLIGHT MASK -Yogurt has lactic acid which exfoliates to reveal bright and tight fresh skin – it also prevents wrinkles so its perfect for the undereye. Its also full of B vitamins so it makes your skin glowing and plump and hydrated -Rose water also brightens and tones the skin and makes it smoooooth -Honey is full of anti-oxidants and is so hydrating so it makes your skin glow #2 CONTOUR MASK -Espresso/Coffee the caffeine pulls excess moisture from the skin, making it look more firm and tight. This is the MAIN ingredient which gives the contoured effect. NO SUBSTITUTIONS -Cacao powder is a natural sunscreen and helps improve skin complexion. Full of vitamin C, and fatty acids that keep your skin healthy *you can use each mask on their own OR you can use them how I did as a highlight and contour* these masks also smell good enough to eat -youll smell like youre baking a delicious cake on your face! Disclaimer: Do a test patch first!

She created two different homemade concoctions. The first consists of yogurt, honey, and rose petals, and the second combines coffee grinds, cacao powder, and honey. She places both on the places that she wants to highlight or contour.

After allowing the masks to completely dry, she washes it off with lukewarm water in circular motions.

Can you excuse me for a minute, I need to go do this!
