Clothes Smell Like Mildew? Don’t Buy A New Washing Machine, Clean it With 2 Simple Ingredients
Sure we clean daily, everything from the kitchen counters to the bathroom tiles, but have you ever wondered if you were forgetting something? Chances are you have been!
How often do you clean your washing machine? The washing machine is something most people think cleans itself this being because it is always loaded with detergents and such but that is completely wrong. Washing machines collect a lot of nasty things and can mold over time. It is very important to clean them especially if you want to avoid any possible mildewed smelling clothes.
Of course, you could go to the store and pick up some sort of commercial cleaning product made for cleaning your washer but those are so expensive. In order to avoid breaking the bank and keep your washer clean this DIY trick will work wonders. I came across this video not too long ago and it taught me that I could clean all the gunk out of my washer with just two common household ingredients.
Those ingredients being baking soda and vinegar. This works because they both have wonderful sanitizing properties. You can also use them to clean a lot of other things besides your washer as well. Essentially you just put the vinegar in the drum and the baking soda where you would put the detergent and run a warm cycle.
This comes in handy because I always have plenty of baking soda and vinegar in my home as it is. This step by step tutorial will give you all the information you need so please take the time to watch below. Enjoy!
