All of these are good for boosting your cardiovascular function!

Dates are also extremely effective in decreasing cholesterol. This is a direct effect of the dates high content of potassium. Potassium in dates has been proven to reduce LDL or low-density lipoproteins, also known as cholesterol.

You can consume dates in multiple different ways to get their extreme medicinal benefits. You can add them to your morning smoothie, or you can add some to your oatmeal! You could even carry them for a snack later in the day. Either way, Dates are a tasty snack and they are great for your cardiovascular system.
