Graphic Video Exposes How Famous Brands, Like Louis Vuitton, Make Crocodile Skin Bags

by in Environment, Video December 28, 2016

The true cost of a luxury bag might be more than you think. A graphic video was released showing the horrific process of making a luxury crocodile skin handbag!

The video exposes the true process of skinning crocodiles for handbags designed by Louis Vuitton, and other luxury bag brands. Crocodile skin handbags are pricey, but wait until you see what the crocodiles are forced to go through for them. There is no doubt that after watching this video, you will never buy another crocodile-skin accessory ever again. The process took place in Vietnam. The investigation was undercover and it revealed horrific details.

The video showed vigorously shaking crocodiles being electrically shocked. Then their necks were cut open and metal rods were shoved down their spinal cords. This all takes place while the horrified reptile is still living and moving! They are then skinned and bleed out. The video was taken in two Vietnam crocodile farms. Vietnam exports approximately 30,000 crocodile skins per year. PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) have exposed how tens of thousands of crocodiles are horribly abused. They are under overly restrictive, under-stimulating, and inhumane circumstances.

They are then slaughtered to make fashion accessories such as bags, wallets, belts, and shoes. The products are often seen worn by celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, and a few more. One Louis Vuitton crocodile skin handbag can be sold for 25,000 Euros.

It is urgent that we stop purchasing crocodile skin products, as this is cruel and inhumane for the crocodiles! Caution, as the video is graphic but gives a realistic view on the process of making these crocodile skin accessories.
